The Cellcom datacenter experiencing networking issues, which resulted in availability issues for some of our servers. We are in contact with their IT teams and await their updates as the problem is a datacenter wide.

We have stopped the attack, and gradually restored all of the affected websites, within a 24-hour period we have restored about 99% of the affected websites from our backup systems. We continue to work to repair individual cases where websites do not properly work after the restore process. Continuing what we posted yesterday, we faced an unprecedented attack by anti-Israeli agents against many sites. We have stopped the attack, and so far restored about 95% of the websites affected, and we are continuing to restore the rest of the websites in a controlled manner to bring all websites back to full and standard operation as soon as possible. At the same time we continue with the security investigation of the incident, If your site is inactive please send an e-mail to support@upress.co.il and we will investigate and address the problem. In addition if you are restoring a website from backup independently please run a comprehensive site security check after the restore. We would like to thank you again for the support and understanding you demonstrated this complex event.

Dear Customers, this morning we've identified a wide-spread cyber attack on a large number of sites hosted by us. This seems to be an intentional attack performed by anti-Israeli groups (Iranian). We've identified a security exploit in a WordPress plugin that enabled the attack and we are currently working with the Israel National Cyber Directorate, running investigations and are currently fixing all affected sites. We are doing our best in order to fix the damages done by this attack as soon as possible. Rest assured that all of your sites and information are backed up and we are doing our best to reach every single site affected by this. This is a difficult and large scale event and we promise you, we will get through this.
